The Guilds of St. Stephen & St. Martin’s form an essential part of our mission. Along with the Vestry, the Guilds form the leading-edge of lay involvement at our church—and are a central part of our shared congregational life.

Altar Guild

The role of the Altar Guild is to prepare for the administration of the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Baptism. The Altar Guild work is a labor of love offered to God, a sacred duty where each member is called on to handle the Reserve Sacrament and sacred vessels.

Fundraising Committee

The Fundraising Committee is committed to raise funds for the growth and enhancement of St. Stephen and St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

Brotherhood of St. Andrew

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is an international lay ministry of men within the Anglican Communion whose mission is to bring men and youth to Christ though prayer, study and service.

Building Committee

Choir Ministry

The Building Committee oversees building new Church structures, repair of old structures, and provides maintenance services for our church.

The mission statement of the Choir Ministry is to sing praises to the Glory of God and to sanctify the faithful, by using our God given talents to enhance liturgical celebration and other sacred assemblies through Oritarios, Hymns, Chants, Communion Settings and Anthems.

Our mission is to carry on Christ’s work of reconciliation in the world, as we reach out to our sisters and brothers, in the name of Jesus and take our rightful places as leaders in life, governance and worship of the church.

The Finance Committee works in concord with the Treasurer to examine all aspects of the Church’s finances. They prepare an annual budget and financial reports for the Vestry, and make recommendations regularly for the fiscal solvency of the Church.

We are committed to offering a service which provides fellowship to the congregation and our guests, and to be partakers in an environment where there are no strangers.

“Behold I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.” Jeremiah 33 :6

We aim to teach Christian values and the doctrines embraced by the Episcopal Church; maintain current youth participation; and increase youth membership by offering wholesome activities that will encourage the participation of youth and their families.

To maintain order during church services and to be in constant communication with all congregants, to keep the priest constantly inform of the needs and status of the parishioners.

The Women’s Guild is a voluntary guild of the parish with membership open to all women of our parish. Our ministry is primarily devoted towards fellowship, worship and helping the sick and bereaved in the parish.
